What We Do

Shade Solutions Crafted for Every
Type of Building

From residential patios to large-scale commercial facades, our custom shade systems are engineered for the Pacific Northwest climate — built to last, designed to impress.

Residential Awnings

Transform your outdoor living spaces with custom-fit awnings for windows, doors, patios, and decks. We match your home's architecture and your personal style.

Retractable Systems

Motorized and manual retractable awnings give you on-demand shade. Open to the sun, close at will — perfect for decks, lanais, and commercial patios.

Commercial Canopies

Make a lasting impression with bold, professional-grade awnings for storefronts, restaurants, and businesses. Boost curb appeal while reducing cooling costs.

Patio & Deck Covers

Extend your outdoor season with permanent or semi-permanent patio covers. Available in aluminum, polycarbonate, and fabric — designed for the Pacific Northwest.

Awning Repair & Restoration

Don't replace — restore. We repair fabric tears, fix mechanical systems, and refinish frames to bring your existing awning back to life.

Fabric & Color Consultation

Choose from hundreds of premium fabrics in every color and stripe pattern. Our experts help you pick the perfect combination for your property.

Our Story

Three Generations of Shade
Craftsmanship

City Shade Awning has been a Brush Prairie institution since 1949. What started as a one-man shop with a sewing machine and a vision has grown into the region's most trusted name in custom shade solutions.

We design, fabricate, and install every project in-house — no outsourcing, no shortcuts. Our team works directly with homeowners and business owners to create awnings and shade systems that are as unique as the buildings they adorn.
